How It Works

Mobile Tides is constantly expanding its coverage of the globe. We currently provide tide data for over 4,500 specific locations worldwide. Because tide predictions change with each unique location, our tide locations are specifically destributed to provide more accurate, wide-spread coverage. The map above summarizes our coverage areas in light blue, while the areas in dark blue are currently under development.

First, decide which version (Graphic or Text) of the application will best suit your needs then click the “Sign-Up” button. You will be taken to a subscription form. Once submitted, you will be allowed to start the process of getting Mobile Tides on your device!

Select your default tide location from more than 4,000 locations world-wide. This should be the area that you will need tide information for most often OR a specific travel destination where you will be using Mobile Tides.

After selecting your default location, your device will request permission to access the Mobile Tides online database. Once begun, the download will be completed in moments and the installation is automatic.

Tide information for your selected location can now be viewed on your mobile phone quickly and easily even if your phone gets no service! Simply navigate through up to 30 days of tide predictions to find the desired day using the arrow buttons on your keypad.

Traveling?
You will also have the ability to replace your local tide graph with any other location within our covered areas at no extra charge. Regardless if you have service on your phone where you're going you can always power up and view your tide graphs. Using Mobile Tides on your mobile phone will be simple. After selecting one of the several subscription options that best suits your needs follow the steps to the right to get started.
